Summer Jets by Iain Archer aches with the grief of a lost love… and damned but his phrasing is unique and amazing. He can take one word and work it into multiple notes and moods. Just one word. Difficult. Feeling. Over. Skyward. There’s brilliance in how Archer phrases words that seem really impossible to put to this particular music, but yet, he does.

Rose by Dark Horse District

Dark Horse District has, perhaps, the coolest name for a band. Well, I like it anyway.  And I like the songs they’re churning out, even if they are only on EP’s right now.  My favorite song of theirs is “Never Was,” but following at a close second is “Rose,” which is an absolute spot-on, perfect wedding song.
